just receive a mail from a friend in reply of me telling her that i quit my job.
"Sharon,
u are crazy. but well done!!
enough is enough, hei.
will u be looking for a job as a pharmacy assisstant or as a pharmacist? im sure if u cold call people, one of them would bound to take u in. dont worry, God is on our side & He wont abandon u. eventhough He probably thinks what u've done is stupidity. haha."
The last line cracked me up! Come to think of it, it is true especially at this time..economy downturn..bla bla..oh well, what's done is done!
Thank God for good friends! Another good friend of mine asked for my bank account number. Surprised, i said..WHY? what for?? This friend of mine told me that he gonna transfer $3000-$4000 to my account..at least i feel financially secure and if i dont use it, i can always transfer it back to him. He knows that i wont ask my parents for money or ask anyone. I was touched by the offer (thanks again) but i'm alright..my savings can last for some time!
Another friend said she will cook my dinner everyday and the only thing i have to do is help her wash dishes cause she hates doing dishes..
then, another friend said i can clean the house (all guys) and they will sponsor food..
*laughs* such adorable friends i have..
What have i been up to :
-sent in my resumes to different pharmacies in mandurah (1 hour from here)
-applied for a part-time job at civic video (video renting shop)
-nerding at the library ( borrowed 12 books ; australian science, national geographic, few novels, history book, etc....)
-dinner with a part-time pharmacist last night, she worked in mandurah before recommended some pharmacies with good boss. Just last night, one of the pharmacy's boss called her to ask her about me cause i list her as my referee..
-check out a chinese restaurant (the canto boss approached me while i was doing my groceries at woolies. I was shocked, i thought she wanna sell me off to the brothel or sth. then again, i dont think i'm physically qualified..HAHAHA! She's looking for someone who can speak english to take down phone order..it's like a waitressing job)
so yeh, for the first time in my life, i took a risk which may be deemed as stupidity but I'm trusting God in this. A friend told me
"i'm totally excited for you because it's when we are in transition that God has the room to move in our lives"
I believe this is a test. Constantly, i hear this small still voice, Just trust me.
No doubt i do have my worries. But i believe i made the right decision. After quitting, i am myself again, i felt the peace and excitement of another phase of journey that's yet to come. most of all, the intimacy of the relationship with God that i long for is happening right now..
