a break at Rotness Island..25 mins of ferry ride from Perth...fantastic...

-rented a multi gear bike for 24 hours
-stayed overnight at a hostel, female's dorm, met a traveller from switzerland, had nice chat with her about travelling and of course Swatch watches. she owns a snowboard and jetski hire shop...been travelling for 2 weeks..next stop is ayer's rock north of australia...ALONE..how brave
-there's a picture up there with white stuff flying over the road..that's foam..formed from the lake..beside the road. no idea how it came about.. but it's really nice driving down the road with foams flying across due to the strong wind.
-went on a plane for joy ride only $28 for 10 minutes. was so great!!! my favourite
-on the way back to perth by ferry, the whole ferry bounced up and down, like a roller coaster ride...queasy but fun!!
-result from the trip: muscle ache from the bike riding up and down the mountains!!
