Snapshots of Perth city...kinda dark..cause it's cloudy that day..
Yep, it's been 2 days since i touched down
My cuz's husband drove me around..most shops and streets reminded me of Adelaide. Now i know why people say that Perth is similar to Adelaide except that it's bigger and 'more city'..however it's not as busy as melbourne and sydney. Not too bad...
today is a day i'll remember forever..haha! I'm scared to death...my cousin cant drive and suddenly i'm thrown into an adventure. As you all know, i'm very very very bad at directions. But, some things just need to be done. I have to get a car in Perth and then drive down to Bunbury together with my cousin this saturday.
So, to search for a car, i need to drive to 'car shops' along a highway..equipped with a map and prayers, off i went. I was so stressed out. The speed limit is stressing me out. If the sign shows 80, i cant drive beyond 80..however, a lady flashed her front lights at me then sounded the hon when she drove pass me. She was mad at me..darn, she's the one who's breaking the law okay..!
it's tiring to keep my speed limit...i tend to go beyond that..heh!
As expected i got lost!! I stopped by a place...and took around 30-45 minutes to study the map, connecting whichever highway i can find that link to the road that i'm going to. The map didnt make it easier for me, i have to flip and flip the pages...stopped by several places along the road to connect the route to another route at another page! As frustrated as i was, i prayed..haha! then, somehow i managed to make sense of the map and then somehow(really) managed to drive to my destination! Phew!!
yes i did find a car, $3699 Ford Festiva auto made in 1994. I was quite happy that i found it. It's hard to find an auto small car with the budget <$4000, most of them are manuals! However it has travelled more than 230000km. The ideal distance travelled is <200>
